How to fix a ps3 is one of the most popular questions ps3 owners are asking. Whether it’s a yellow light of death fix, red flashing lights or something else on your ps3, gamers are asking, how to fix a ps3 over and over.

Rob Scheffield created this guide with videos and PDF files that walks you through how to fix your PS3 in under an hour.

I recently used this for a few friends Blinking Red Lights and a Yellow Light of Death.

I personally wish I had found this a bit earlier for my own issues, but anyway…here’s a quick overview.

The big deal about the PS3 Light Fix

I’m not technical and was able to follow these directions step by step. I’m a little technically “inclined” but normally I wouldn’t even think about opening up my PS3 or any elses. After some convincing, we ended up cracking open the case and following these instructions.

What’s Not So Good about the Guide

It’s kind of misleading that this is a “Guide”. It’s not. It’s a PDF file and videos and your get to download it immediately. I personally like to have some printed materials that I can flip through, but I was able to easily print everything out with out much of an issue.

Other than that…this thing was great. Personally, his return policy is kinda crazy. I mean, he gives you 60 days, and this only takes an hour to do… so you can’t go wrong.

PS3 Flashing Red Light Error

Yellow Light of Death Fix…ugh

Seems these are popping up all over the place.. my friend just has one of these himself. I checked out YouTube and a bunch of other places for PS3 fixes without much luck. This was different than the Red Light Problems that others experience on their PS3.
